A social media campaign has been launched to bring Betty White, the last surviving Golden Girl, to the Democratic National Convention this week, reports ABC. White, who endorsed Obama in May, turned 90 this year, and the president recorded a birthday message asking to see her long-form birth certificate. Eastwood "gave a bad name to older Americans everywhere with his absurd and awkward-to-watch introduction of Governor Romney,” says a petition at Change.org. "Romney can have Clint Eastwood and his improvisational skills because President Obama has the one and only Betty White!” White hosted Saturday Night Live in 2010 after fans started a successful campaign on Facebook.
