UConn's Andre Dixon rushed for 115 yards on 22 carries to mark the third time in four games Louisville has lost after failing to keep a running back from breaking the 100-yard mark, reports the Hartford Courant. The Cardinals scored twice early in the fourth quarter to boost their lead to 17-7, but Tyler Lorenzen led his Huskies offense on two touchdown drives through Louisiana's 100th-ranked defense. It was a cold and rainy night out on the field, said Cardinal Earl Heyman, adding that "Sometimes the bird eats you, and sometimes you eat the bird."
