Entertainment | Lindsay Lohan Lindsay Lohan to Play '70s Porn Star She'll portray Linda Lovelace in new film, Inferno By Nick McMaster Posted May 5, 2010 3:01 PM CDT Copied Porn star Linda Lovelace, who starred in "Deep Throat", arrives at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles in this 1974 file photo. (AP Photo, File) Lindsay Lohan's hard partying hasn't stopped her from landing a starring role: she'll portray '70s porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming Inferno. Details on the movie are scarce, but it will be based on Lovelace's life and include Bill Pullman as Hugh Hefner. Producer Wali Razaqi confirmed the Lohan casting rumors to the Los Angeles Times and said an official announcement will come during Cannes. "I would say it's probably one of the most challenging roles any actor could play—and not because of the sexual content, necessarily—but more because she was so battered and beat up emotionally," Razaqi said. "Not that Lindsay's life is similar in any way—but she's been through a lot of ups and downs. A lot of times you're loved and then you're hated, and I think she can relate to those emotions and feelings. One week she's the 'it' girl, and the next, she's the 'what are you doing?' girl."
