(AP Photo/Robert Mecea) Federal safety regulators are looking into complaints of steering problems with the 2009 and 2010 Toyota Corolla. About 80 motorists in the US have complained that their cars veer on highways, reports the Daily News. If verified, the defect that could hit Toyota with a fourth recall in what has already been a devastating year for the automaker. The quality issues have caused rating agency Moody's to put Toyota on downgrade-watch. "We are reviewing steering complaints with the Corolla to determine if a safety defect investigation is warranted," said a spokeswoman for the Department of Transportation.
