"Janet has completely bonded with those children in the last two weeks,” said a family friend. “She has been their rock. It’s clear to everyone that they are looking to her for comfort and guidance.” Jackson's mother, Katherine, was named in his will as the children's guardian, and Janet's presence has helped ease fears that the role might be too much for the 79-year-old grandmother.
