A Spanish newspaper has printed photos Silvio Berlusconi managed to keep out of the Italian press, showing a naked man and "semi-naked" young women lounging around the pool at the Italian PM's villa in Sardinia, the Guardian reports. The photos in El Pais had the faces pixelated out by photographer Antonello Zappadu, who told the paper that Italian air force flights were used "virtually every weekend" to ferry Berlusconi pals, dancers, and television hostesses to the retreat.
Berlusconi is under investigation for possible misuse of official aircraft to fly revelers to the villa, and still hasn't answered questions about his relationship with an 18-year-old model and actress, Noemi Letizia. It was not clear of Letizia was in any of the published photos. El Pais was quick to comment that the paper doesn't care what he does with his private life, but using official aircraft to "transport guests to his private parties" is a misuse of his political position.
