Photog Sues Brown Over Bodyguard Beatdown

Chris Brown is being sued by a paparazzo who says he was assaulted by Brown’s bodyguards after taking pictures of Brown at a Los Angeles gym May 13, the AP reports. Brown himself is not accused of any violence. Brown’s attorney says Robert Rosen has filed such suits before; a man with the same name filed a similar claim against Pierce Brosnan in 2007, though it wasn’t immediately clear if it’s the same man.

“This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday,” said Brown’s attorney. “He’s done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this.”
