(AP Photo/Alex Brandon) The first family is having pizza delivered for lunch today—from St. Louis. President Obama became a fan of restaurant Pi during a campaign stop in Missouri, and yesterday the owner flew to Washington to make 20 pizzas in the White House for the president’s family and staff, People reports. He brought along 20 pounds of dough and 3 gallons of sauce at his own expense. “It’s surreal, it’s a huge honor,” says owner Chris Sommers, who first offered to send frozen pizzas to the White House but could not because of security concerns. “It will be casual lunch. Hopefully we'll have a chance to say hello to the president.” (More St. Louis stories.) Report an error
