Bloomberg can probably expect a tougher fight than last time, thanks to his successful attempt to extend his term limits and the tanking economy. The mayor’s top political aide describes Wolfson as “the best political strategist in New York.” The mayor’s team is harder-edged this time around, including Wolfson, who once called Bloomberg “an out-of-touch billionaire,” while blocking Hizzoner's campaign to institute nonpartisan city elections, Politico reports. “That was my evil twin,” Wolfson says now.
