Think "rats in the city," and many people are likely to envision the rodents who creep around in the Big Apple's alleyways and subway system. It's not New York City, though, but Chicago atop Orkin's list of the "rattiest" cities in America. USA Today notes it's the eighth straight year that the Windy City took the top spot in the pest control company's rankings, which looked at the 50 most rat- and mice-infested metropolises, calculating the "rattiness" factor by analyzing how many new residential and commercial rodent treatments were ordered in a city between September 2021 through the end of August. Check out the other cities in the top 10:
- Chicago
- New York
- Los Angeles
- Washington, DC
- San Francisco
- Philadelphia
- Baltimore
- Cleveland
- Detroit
- Denver

This is the most stressed city in America, though probably not from rats.)
