Celebrity | Amy Winehouse Winehouse 'Cautioned' After Night in Cell Singer held by London police on suspicion of assault By Rob Quinn Posted Apr 26, 2008 8:01 AM CDT Copied British singer Amy Winehouse arrives at a police station in London, Friday April 25, 2008, where she voluntarily appeared to be questioned in connection with an alleged assault. (AP Photo/Anthony Devlin, PA) Amy Winehouse spent the night behind bars after showing up 3 hours late for questioning yesterday on Tuesday's head-butting and punching assault on two men outside a London bar, the Times reports. The visibly distressed singer was arrested and held overnight because a doctor deemed her “unfit to be interviewed.” This morning she was questioned and released with a "caution." "Amy was fully co-operative with inquiries and apologized for the incident," her spokesman said. "She thanked the police for their professional handling of the matter. There will be no further action taken." Read These Next Online sleuths expose Epstein file redactions. Email sent to Ghislaine Maxwell seeks 'inappropriate friends.'
