Seinfeld Is Moving Over to Netflix

Jerry Seinfeld is coming to Netflix. His talk series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which had been streaming on Sony's Crackle service, will move to Netflix with 24 new episodes starting late this year, Variety reports. Netflix will also get exclusive rights to the first 59 episodes of the show. Seinfeld's deal with Netflix also includes two new stand-up specials. "When I first started thinking about Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the entire Netflix business model consisted of mailing out DVDs in envelopes," Seinfeld says in a statement. "I love that we are now joining together, both at very different points." (Seinfeld recently roasted Paul McCartney.)
