(AP Photo/Jim Cole) Let's be honest, you weren't going to get any work done today anyway. So why not spend the rest of Election Day feverishly updating Slate's VoteCastr. VoteCastr is tracking early voting in seven swing states in a way Slate claims is both new and "far more accurate" than other early voting models. VoteCastr uses public information from local officials on who voted, then compares it with its own private data on early voters, including age, race, and party registration. It also utilizes extensive polling and microtargeting. As of this posting, VoteCastr is showing Clinton with early leads in all seven of the states it's tracking; Trump was previously leading in Pennsylvania. While VoteCastr isn't a prediction of who will win each state, it is a snapshot of what's happening in real time, so check back often. Your boss will understand.
