(AP Photo/Michael E. Palmer) (Associated Press) No. 7 Tennessee had dropped 16 of their last 17 games at Alabama, and it wasn't until the very end of last night's match up that the Volunteers ensured their hard-fought road win. The 93-86 game stayed close throughout, thanks in part to 43 total turnovers, but some clutch late-game shooting let Tennessee break away, the Tennessean reports. JaJuan Smith had two of his four three pointers in the final three minutes, and the Volunteers as a team hit 75% of their long balls and 69.2% overall in the second half. Chris Lofton contributed 23 points, with Smith close behind at 22. For the Crimson Tide, Alonzo Gee put up a game-high 27 points, followed by Richard Hendrix with 20 points and 12 boards.
