Nelson and Henderson combine for 50 points for No. 4 Blue Devils

Duke overcame its first halftime deficit this season and the loud Maryland crowd, defeating the upset-minded Terrapins 93-84. The nation's No. 4 team nearly had the same fate that its state rival, UNC, experienced against Gary Williams' bunch eight days earlier. But DeMarcus Nelson scored 19 of his 27 points after the break to spark the Blue Devils' rally.

The Terps rode the crowd's enthusiasm early, taking the biggest lead anyone has had on Duke all season. It didn't last as Duke scored 51 points in the second half in improving to 17-1 overall. James Gist had 26 points for Maryland while wild-haired Bambale Osby had career highs in points (20) and rebounds (15). Duke's Gerald Henderson scored 23.
