Clinton is "sounding terrific, upbeat, and raring to go," says spokeswoman Victoria Nuland. The secretary of state was discharged from the hospital yesterday following treatment for a blood clot in her head. Meanwhile, expected successor John Kerry picked up a mountain of briefing papers ahead of his confirmation hearings and will begin reporting to the State Department regularly tomorrow, reports AP.
