(Shutterstock) A week after being kidnapped by gunmen in Tripoli, the president of the Libyan Olympic Committee has been freed unharmed and is back home, reports Reuters. "He is fine," says a fellow Olympic official. Ahmed Nabil al-Taher al-Alam reportedly plans to leave for London "in two or three days" to help Libya's small Olympic team prepare for Friday's opening. Al-Alam took over from Mohammed Gadhafi as head of the Olympic Committee last year, after the son of longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi fled to Algeria.
