Hachette's Grand Central imprint is paying Greg Smith $1.5 million for the worldwide rights to a tell-all book about his time with the investment house, reports the New York Post. Thanks to Smith's agent, the publishing industry was whipped into a frenzy for his memoir, quickly moving bidding into the seven figures.
