Media | Daniel Domscheit-Berg Meet Julian Assange... Cat Abuser Ex-WikiLeaker's book reveals Assange's battle with cat By Evann Gastaldo Posted Feb 13, 2011 6:56 AM CST Copied The 2nd Prize People In The News Single of the 2011 World Press Photo contest by Seamus Murphy, Ireland, VII Photo Agency, of Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, London, Sept. 30, 2010. (AP Photo/Seamus Murphy/VII Photo Agency) It might be a bit of an understatement to say that Daniel Domscheit-Berg is not happy with former boss Julian Assange. Among the more, er, interesting revelations, from the ex-WikiLeaker's tell-all, according to AFP: Assange abused Domscheit-Berg’s cat. "Julian was constantly battling for dominance, even with my tomcat Herr Schmitt," Domscheit-Berg writes in Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website. "Ever since Julian lived with me in Wiesbaden he (the cat) has suffered from psychosis. Julian would constantly attack the animal. He would spread out his fingers like a fork and grab the cat's throat." Cat-lovers and Assange-haters alike will be pleased to hear, however, that the cat did sometimes manage to "dispatch Julian with a quick swipe of the paw."
