NASA Glenn Research Center spokeswoman Sally Harrington wouldn't say whether police were checking for a gunman but she says the complex was placed under "complete lockdown" this morning. The center is located at the edge of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport along the Cleveland-Brook Park border. Brook Park police withheld details on how they were handling the situation; Cleveland police say they aren't involved. The research center has more than 3,400 employees and contract workers.
