Indy defense dominates, knocks Jaguars QB from the game

A 29-7 blowout of Jacksonville last night left the Indianapolis Colts undefeated, and the third team in NFL history to start three consecutive seasons 6-0, reports the Indianapolis Star. Determined to make up for last season's breakdown against the Jaguars, the Indy defense clamped down, picking off three interceptions, bagging a safety, and spraining Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard's ankle.

Peyton Manning threw for 259 yards in a typically solid performance, and between them Joseph Addai and Kenton Keith put up 141 yards rushing. Addai maneuvered a 23-yard run on 4th-and-1 to claim the Colts' longest rush of the season, and the Jaguars' Quinn Gray threw his team's first interception this season two plays after replacing Garrard.
