(AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes) Today in the “bizarre showbiz mysteries” department: James Brown’s illegitimate daughter claims his body has gone missing. The Godfather of Soul, who died in 2006 of—supposedly—a heart attack, was put in a temporary crypt at daughter Deanna’s home while his final resting place was being constructed. Now daughter LaRhonda says his body has been moved—to keep her from discovering his true cause of death, she tells the Mirror. LaRhonda—who is 99.99% likely to be Brown’s daughter, a DNA test found—believes her father was killed by people trying to get to his money, and she wants an autopsy done. “At the very least there were enablers who helped cause his death,” she says, citing his addiction to illegal drugs and prescription painkillers. “There were reports he may even have been beaten up before he died.” Read These Next University does 180 on professor fired for Charlie Kirk post.
